Established in Irving, TX, not too long ago, Milkshakes & More was born somewhat out of necessity (in our opinion!). We’ll try to keep the story short and sweet to leave more time for you to come on over and make your day a little sweeter!
There are certain things that everyone in our family can agree on and we think that’s true in most families. We love ice cream. We love milkshakes. We love boba teas. We love coffee. We love smoothies. We love slushies. We love chocolates. We love dessert. We love enjoying these things as a family or with our friends any time that we can!
Now, what we don’t seem to be in sync about is all of us wanting a milkshake, a boba tea, a coffee, a slushie, or a smoothie all at the same time! So when dad wants a milkshake, mom inevitably wants a coffee, daughter inevitably wants boba, and son inevitably wants an ice cream sundae! This leads to either multiple people being slightly less happy when we flip coins or take a vote (because let’s face it, these are all awesome treats so you really shouldn’t be too unhappy!) or it leads to everyone staying home while mom or dad heads out to multiple places trying to strategically plan the stops so the coffee doesn’t get cold or the ice cream doesn’t melt by the time they arrive back home to enjoy everything together! Of course, sometimes the whole family can be convinced to come along for the ride anyway so mom or dad doesn’t have to risk spilling something in the car on the rush back home!
Cutting to the present, we thought we needed a place that had all of our favorites and when we couldn’t find one, we put everything we had together to build one and Milkshakes & More was born!
We strive to bring the deliciousness that we love to everyone around us from professionals on the go, to friends after school, and to families spending some quality time together. We also do it with the highest quality ingredients like real, all natural ice cream (yeah, the kind you scoop and not the kind you pump out of a bag!), tea leaves brewed fresh daily and often brewed to order, tapioca boba pearls cooked fresh on site multiple times per day, slow drip (like 16-20 hours slow!) cold brew coffee with high quality coffee beans ground fresh daily in our shop, real fruits for smoothies and slushies, and dairy free options so everybody can enjoy their favorites.
